Put on your woolly hat, grab hold and don’t let go! But who was crowned Ice King or Queen at this year’s ice bathing championship?

What the hell is a Goblet of Ice I hear you ask? Well, it is the trophy awarded to Oslo Fjord Spa’s Ice Bathing champion each winter. Unfortunately, as it is made of ice it does not keep well until the following year but the glory lives on forever!

This year we had a great turnout. And (amazingly) seven people conquered the cold water and all the other competitors to stay in the for the maximum time allowed of thirty minutes. Afterwards, we warmed up with a sauna and an aufguss.
