Afraid not! Awim wear is required at all times both inside and outside of the saunas.

Yes as long as you are sensible! We allow drinking inside the saunas, in moderation, however it is not allowed to consume alcohol outside the saunas. Unfortunately, we had to remove the salt scrub as a few individuals kept putting it on the sauna ovens, despite our best attempts to inform everyone not to do so (including signs in every sauna!!!). After replacing three ovens in the space of two months we decided it was better just to remove it altogether than risk jeoparding sauna-going for everyone by going bankrupt over salt scrub!

However if you would like to make it to use at home here is Oslo Fjord Spa’s original salt scrub recipe. All natural ingredients :-)

  • Salt (fine)
  • Olive oil
  • Coconut oil
  • Geranium essential oil (it works without but doesn’t smell nearly as good!)
